— Mondrian Rockabilly
Mondrian refers to Piet Mondrian, a Dutch painter famous for pioneering abstract art with his iconic style of geometric grids using black lines, white, and primary colors (red, yellow, blue). His work, called Neoplasticism, aimed for universal harmony and simplicity, reducing art to its most essential elements to express underlying spiritual truths, and heavily influenced modern design—
Keep your hair in place with this adjustable tie headband
I love to wear this to keep all my hair in place - it is made of a knit fabric that you wrap yourself.
You can tuck or knot it in the back or the front, That way it is not too tight or too loose-
I wear mine down on my forehead a bit and over my ears. Regular headbands tend to scoot their way off my head or give me headaches. Because it ties I can fit it to my head and this doesn't happen!
We hand cut and sew these headbands one at a time. I often use vintage and reclaimed knit fabrics. This truly makes them one of a kind. Once the fabric is gone, I cannot get it again. We are not mass producing them out of standard fabric. That means you get a truly unique look!
When I’m cutting out headbands- Instead of wasting inches of fabric by cutting a standard pattern I make the headband a little longer or wider.
We don’t like to waste fabric around here,❤️
They are not all identical in size- depending upon the print they could look a little different than the picture.
The rockabilly measures 4 to 6 inches wide and 28 to 36 inches long
The turban measures 4 to 6 inches wide and 50 to 60 inches long
